Little Update on a Little Boy

The baby has settled in--his name is Thai.  He has gained 10 g on his first weigh in which is perfect.  He purred and purred and snuggled with me when I got up at 2 am to feed him.  He ate his lunch with gusto so I think we have made it over the first day learning curve.  I put his small cage in the big cage with one end slightly out from under the heat lamp.  He always crawls to under the heat lamp so I know the temperature is right for him and he has the option to move away if he feels too warm.  He is enjoying being on "a beach in Tahiti" and having a constant warm temperature.  So..........Day 1 is a resounding success!
